Shopping Success 40,000 points at SDM!

Great night at Shoppers Drug Mart!
I did the 18,500 points WUS $75 and I combined it with the 16,000 points WUS $100 mail out coupon for a combined total of 40,000 points!!

I nailed it with a total of $100.27 too

Some highlights:

2 Lady Speedstick Fresh Infusions $1.99 - $1 (insert) and 10X the points
1 Gillette bodywash $4.99 - $2 (Pampers?) = $2.99 and 3000 BP coupon
2 Huggies 3 pack wipes @ $6.49 - $1 (Smartsource) = $5.49 and 1500 BP coupon
1 Mr Christie's Snack packs $1.99 - $0.75 (What's Cooking) = $1.24
1 Juicy Jumbos @ $3.99 - $2 (Manager's sticker)
Now I'm all set for next weekend's redemption!!

for those who have used the 16000 wus $100 coupon, can it be $100 before coupons much like the 20x events or the 18500 wus $75 or is it different with the coupon? thx

Technically, yes it could be $100 before coupons and less afterwards, but you may have trouble convincing the cashier to scan the coupon for you.
You could try giving that as your first coupon and then using your manufacturer's coupon afterwards, or you could just ask them to "try it and see what happens"

I lost my BP coupon WUS $100. I literally cried and checked every conceivable place But I still needed diapers so I just got back from a late night to shoppers, got 30,000, but it couldve been 46, 000, the sad thing is I'll find them once their expired probably.`

I did it once (double ending the bonus) last month and had hoped to do it again last weekend until I saw that the offer I'd been sent ended on May 31st. Booooo. I settled for 18,500 pts.

I'm hoping that we don't have the issue that Sherbear had. It bugs me that the bonus points won't be awarded until June 30th. I have to keep track of receipts and all that jazz until then?

I have to admit that I do the 'trick' of buying a small gc at the beginning of large transaction if I think I'm going to get agro from a cashier about scanning a bonus points WUS card if my total after coupons is below the limit.

Like if I'm using $15 worth of coupons, I'll buy a $15 gc first off so that the final total will still be over $100/$75/$50 etc. Then I'm less likely to be at the mercy of a fussy cashier. I'd prefer to be at the mercy of a fussy computer system.

The coupons I got expired May 31st too, but the ones my husband received for his card expire on June 30th; he used the second one today as part of his redemption so hopefully those points go through too.
